CYC House

This house is located in a peaceful leafy suburb of Cheras. The brief was to design a resort-like tropical house for a family who treasure togetherness, privacy, security and ease of maintenance above anything else. The “T” shaped floor plan enabled the residents to use the privacy courtyard space as it is covered by the longitude of front building facade....

The circulation and living spaces all look into the courtyard and provide the families with the visual connectivity that they desired. A rock wall shields the house from street view and a large flying angular concrete roof canopy dramatically greets visitors.
