Purple Cane Tea Restaurant

We were asked to design a service counter, server, display and display racks for this outlet. This design mainly took inspiration from the site and location of the outlet, which is at a reclusive, densely forested area....

The outlet is located at a timber cabin-like building, which has a multi-purpose halls and picnic / dining zones, and is a popular weekend retreat for the urban dwellers. Timber and steel was our material of choice, and we sought to create a raw and natural service counter which relates to the surrounding, as well as the building it sits in.
