We approach by doing an in-depth research on the business nature and the values of the company, which is in essence: tea and health food. We also researched on the process and area of the tea plantations, and found inspiration from the product and the process.
The lot size is a long strip with a size of 4200 sq. ft. We proposed for a differentiation of levels to evoke the feel of being at a tea plantation, with curved contours and levels that rises as one goes deeper. Materials and colours that relates to the tea leaves were also used to separate out different zonings, while the curvilinear form were used to partition of seating areas and special dining areas. The curved idea were also carried through to the display counters, as well as the ceilings.
